The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has lasted for more than a year, and the entire Russian auto industry has changed drastically. Manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Honda, Ford, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and GM have withdrawn one after another. Russian car sales will plummet by 58.8% in 2022, leaving only 687,400 vehicles, which is approximately equal to the level in 1991.

But cars are just needed in any big country, and this will not change. While Western car companies are withdrawing from Russia, Chinese automakers are expanding significantly in Russia.

Recently, some Japanese media conducted on-the-spot visits to Russia, and the results showed that Chinese car companies have achieved far more achievements here than in previous years.

Western car companies will collectively withdraw from the Russian market in 2022. In the past, the Russian people might really worry about not being able to buy a good car. But now, their biggest neighbor has become the world's second-largest car exporter.

In the interview video released by the Japanese media, many Russian people said that they bought cars from Chinese manufacturers. According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, Russia will rank third in China's vehicle export value in 2022, with a 40% increase in export volume.

Chery, Haval, Geely, and Changan are the main force for Chinese car companies to seize the Russian market, all of which will be among the top 20 Russian car sales in 2022.

In the era of fuel vehicles, Chinese car companies may have had the experience of relying on low prices to seize some of the leftover market; but in the era of new energy, China itself has accounted for 65% of the global market share, and has also cultivated BYD's annual sales of 1.86 million vehicles. The behemoth of the global auto market will change as a result.

In 2022, China's auto exports will rank second in the world, only one step away from Japan, which tops the list. Made in China has added another miracle to our era.
